Team Denver Homes - Virginia Village Neighborhood Review

Virginia Village Location

Virginia Village is bounded by South Colorado Boulevard to the west, South Poplar Street to the east, East Evans Ave to the south and East Mississippi Avenue/East Cherry Creek North Drive to the north.

Virginia Village History

Virginia Village neighborhood is full of many mature trees and this is because of the free tree program by Denver businessman Marcus C. Bogue Jr. In the early 1950s, Brogue offered Virginia Village residents free trees, as long as residents planted them along their streets — this is why you will notice Virginia Village is filled with maple, pink crabapple, linden and ash trees!

Virginia Village Parks and Recreation

The neighborhood has many parks, playgrounds and picnic areas for residents to enjoy the beautiful weather we have here in Colorado, as well as easy access to the Cherry Creek Trail where you can often find many people running, walking or biking.
